JEROME (JERRY) ISHMAEL - DIRECTOR
Jerry has thirty (30) years management experience in the hospitality and exposition industry both in Barbados and the United States of America. He has served as a hotel General Manager and Deputy Director of Franchise Services for the Day Inn Brand, General Manger of Barbados Tourism Investment Corporation, CEO of Barbados Conference Services Ltd and is currently the Director of Premier Event Services Inc. He holds the designation of Certified Hotel Administration and Certified Event Planner. While at BCSL Jerry conceived and produced the first Home Show, a three-day event attracting over fifty exhibitors and attended by over ten thousand people. Since starting Premier Event Services Inc. Jerry has taken lead in planning and producing many new, exciting and innovative events.
FAYE WHARTON- PARRIS - DIRECTOR
Faye graduated from the UWI in 1986 with a BSc. (Honours) degree in Hotel Management and immediately began her career in the area of Food and Beverage Management. She later decided to focus on Conference Centre and Event Management. Over the years she has continued to improve her knowledge by attending various overseas courses, such as "Tourism Marketing and Promotion" at the World Trade Institute in New York and "Conference Centre Operations" at the highly respected Cornell University also in New York. Her most recent position has brought her expertise in the area of event planning and management to the fore and she is widely recognized as a highly competent Event Planner.
SOPHIA CATWELL - MANAGER, EVENT SERVICES
Sophia has over 10 years management experience in Conference and Special Event production. Sophia is a former Assistant Manager of Horizon Event Planners, a subsidiary of Barbados Conference Services Ltd (BCSL), where she conceptualised, marketed and executed many themed events. Her experience in conference management includes a number of major conferences hosted by the Government of Barbados including; the Barbados Network Conference “Inaugural Diaspora Conference” 2010 and the 28th Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) 2007. Sophia’s commitment to excellence has earned her a Barbados Tourism Award of Excellence in Support Services in 2007 and an “Employee of the Year” award in 2007 at Barbados Conference Services Limited.
CHERYL-ANNE APPLEWHITE - Joined Premier Event Services Inc. in 2003 as an office assistant. Through hard work and training she now holds the position as Senior Event Coordinator with the responsibilities of preparing Budgets, attending site visits and event execution.
KIMBERLEY BRANCH - Joined Premier Event Services Inc. in 2008 and brought with her six years of experience as a Customer Service Agent in the Airline Industry and a Guest Service Representative in the Hospitality Sector. She is the Supervisor - Event Services with responsibility for all our executive berverage service, rental coordinations and preparing Budgets and attending site visits and event execution.
TROY HAMBLIN - Joined Premier Event Services Inc. in January 2014 as the Accountant. He has brought a wealth of experience, having worked in a similar capacity in other organisations.
